My Well-Being SMART Goal

     My goal is to be happy everyday and to not be worried or concerned about something. To know that I'm happy, I am going to check every night by marking the number between 1 to 10 by 1 being not happy at all and 10 being really happy. To be happy, I'll try to share my feeling with others. I think this goal is important to me because when I looked at "my well being data", I wasn't being quite being good at social. I will check my data every week and I'll try to do this for 1 month and if it goes well I would continue.

Reflecting out Exhibition

     To start with, something that I think we succeeded in our presentation was showing the video because the audience gets boring when we just speak. Also, our script was smoothly connected to our work, we have been doing in past 8 weeks. The most challenging part to me about the exhibition presentation was when our presentation was finished, but the time was left. The area I think we have to improve on is speaking clearly and loudly so the audience could hear us well. During the process of the exhibition I learned how to cooperate and communicate well. I think this experience is unforgettable because many people came to watch and listen to our presentation. 
     I think I did well in presenting because when we were doing the Korean presentation I memorized my script and I didn't need to look down and read of my script at all. Also, I used easy words and clear voice to explain while presenting. I think I was good inquire when I was creating my research question. I think I was also reflective because I wrote the daily blog every night.

So much thing to finish!

     We had lots to do today, but hopefully, we had all day to finish. We first finished music which we didn't had much to finish. Secondly, I worked on video of art installation and preparation while Gyubin, Zhaoying and Nancy worked on the display board. I was sure that my board was almost finished while the others had little more to do than me. Also, I went to library with Mr. Cavanagh to confirm the material we need for presentation. We were all focused on the things we must complete in school like a display board so we didn't had much time left when we realized we had to practice too! So right after we finished the presentation board, we printed the script and practice. I think practicing the presentation is more important than decorating the display board.

Music, Art, P.E

    Today, for the exhibition we worked on the display board and exhibition presentation. But what I'm going to write today in the blog is something different. For the music, we finished the music and also wrote the script for introducing the music piece. I'm really excited about the music because I think our music shows clearly about our topic global warming and ice melting. In art, our group and 3R group went to cafeteria to put the water in and freeze it. Mr. Hammond said we could bring the ice to the pond tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. For P.E class we recorded the shadow dance this afternoon. Our first shape we created was someone throwing a trash to the trash can. The next shape we created was factory and smoke coming out. Last shape was ice mountain and slowly melting.

Location Visit

     Today, after lunch we visited the library space where we will be presenting the exhibition presentation. Our group is going to present in area 2 at 9:20 in English and at area 4 at 10:40. Before looking at different location I thought we would need extra table to put the Macbooks on but after I changed my mind because area 2 and 4 had TV to show the music and visual art video. Area 2 and 4 don't have much space, so during rest time (the time between the presentation) we'll have to go out and stay there. I think our presentation time is good because, we can rest and practice after English presentation until Korean presentation starts. For Korean presentation, me and Gyubin have to do all of the presentation in Korean, while Zhaoying and Nancy do all of their presentation in Chinese.

     While writing my essay some days ago, I used this skill to put the information that I got from my research. I put some of the information that used to answer my three main questions. I think I did well on putting lots of details. I think I have to improve on using more different topic on my writing not just 1 or 3.

     I also in writing time, I used this skill because I thought about the meaning of some of the words in my research note that I couldn't understand. I first thought about that meaning by using the sentence. I figured out some, but some of the thing was not sure so I had to look it up in the dictionary to make sure.






Communication Skills- Viewing

     I used this viewing skill well because we had to make the display board, but I didn't had a good idea, so I used this viewing skill to look at some others work to get inspired. This skill really helped me to design the display board.  




Self-Management Skills- Safety

     I used this skill today, when I was using scissors for cutting the bottle for action. I think safety is an important thing because if we're not safe, we might get hurt. I think carefully cutting with the scissors, try to not use a sharp knife could easily help me use this skill.

Station Planning and Presentation Script

     While writing the script for exhibition presentation, we had to design the station board and write the script with Korean too. To make sure everything gets done by the deadline, we divide our work and what I had to do were designing station board for explaining what we did in music, art and P.E class to represent our issue. I thought the station board would be better if I could put some drawing or symbols in it. So I choose to draw a tree in the middle with the word ART, MUSIC and P.E. Also like a leaf I am going to put some key words, the image of us preparing and the final piece. We didn't start on the board, but I think we can start right away next time because we have a good plan on what we are going to write and draw on the board.
